Frankfurt - Sachsenhausen

Living in Frankfurt, I had the pleasure of exploring the charming neighborhood of Sachsenhausen. Sachsenhausen is known for its historic appeal and vibrant atmosphere.

Strolling along its cobblestone streets, I discovered quaint cafes, traditional apfelwein taverns, and lively markets. One cannot mention Sachsenhausen without indulging in its famous schnitzel. The neighborhood is home to numerous restaurants serving this iconic dish, where I savored crispy breaded cutlets accompanied by tangy potato salad.

Sachsenhausen’s proximity to the Main River also offered stunning views and a pleasant riverside promenade. With its combination of history, culinary delights, and scenic beauty, Sachsenhausen truly captures the essence of Frankfurt’s charm.
